The Alliance for Hispanic Arts & Culture (AfHAC)  vision is to  initiate a campaign and strategy to create a Cultural Arts District and restore the El Grande Theater, which will also serve as an attraction and as a tourism resource of our city.

To Help increase the quality of life of the citizens of Harlingen and aid in the promotion of our city as an arts and cultural destination.

To foster communication, collaboration, eduction, and understanding between Hispanic and Non Hispanic artists, art organizations, media and the community.

To program a thorough cultural and arts entertainment calendar of events that will aid the Harlingen CVB in luring new visitors to our City.
